Cynthians: An Artificially Intelligent Race of Robots

The Cynthians are a strain of artificially intelligent robots, manufactured by humans for the sole purpose of entertaining them through barbaric arena matches; think of it like modern bot-fighting, except the robots have legs, brains, and a whole lot more brutality.
This illustration, made on Adobe Illustrator, is a remake of an original drawing that I made. The Cynthian in blue is called "Hercules," while the red one is called "Thorazrus."

And now, a word on how a standard Cynthian match works:
The match is organized into three rounds, in which two Cynthians engage each other on an artificial battlefield using hand-wielded melee weapons. The round ends when one of the Cynthians is considered disabled, meaning that the Cynthian is completely unable to fight back. Once the round ends, both Cynthians are taken back into their owners' chambers to be repaired for the next round.
As a Cynthian progresses through the games, the rules for Cynthian matches may change according to the desires of the audience. Some Cynthian matches are held underwater or in a space vacuum, while sometimes the Cynthians team up to defeat a single, much more powerful champion Cynthian.
